Hand carved, these rustic wooden dough boards(bateas) are solid and great looking. Our largest batea we sell, they measure about 11-12" wide x 38-40" long. The depth on these beautiful bowls is about 2-3 inches. We have had a lot of requests for bowls that are food safe. Happy to say we have finally done that. We have added 4 coats of food safe sealer to these bowls. Understand that because of the food safe sealer, they will be a little shiny when you receive them. But with time and use, that will definitely diminish. Please understand that the sizes will vary slightly. We will have two of these food safe bateas listed. . NOTE: Please understand that these bowls are a natural handmade product and will never be "perfect" That is what makes them rustic and beautiful. Tone, smoothness, shape,etc, all rustic and never machine made. Please keep that in mind when you buy these.
