Hand carved, these rustic wooden deep dough bowls(bateas) with handles are solid and great looking. They measure about 10-11" wide x 18-20" long. The depth on these beautiful bowls is about 3-4 inches. We have had a lot of requests for bowls that are food safe and a bowl that was deeper as well. Happy to say we have finally done that. We have added 4 coats of an approved food safe sealer to these bowls.

Understand that because of the food safe sealer, they will be a little shiny when you receive them. But with time and use, that will definitely diminish. It takes a lot of man hours to get these bowls to look like this. These deep dough bowls with handles range from a light to a dark tone.

Please understand that the sizes will vary slightly. We will have many styles of these food safe bateas listed. The patina we achieve on the them is beautiful. NOTE: Please understand that these bowls are a natural handmade product and will never be "perfect" That is what makes them rustic and beautiful. Tone, smoothness, shape,etc, all rustic and never machine made. Please keep that in mind when you buy these.
