We have finally done it. A food safe bowl with color. Hand carved, these rustic wooden deep dough bowls(bateas) with handles are solid and great looking. They measure about 10-11" wide x 18-20" long. The depth on these beautiful bowls is about 3-4 inches. We have added 4 coats of an FDA approved food safe sealer to these bowls. Understand that because of the food safe sealer, they will be a little shiny when you receive them. But with time and use, that will definitely diminish. It takes a lot of man hours to get these bowls to look like this. These deep dough bowls with handles range from a light to a dark tone. Please understand that the sizes will vary slightly. We will have many styles of these food safe bateas listed. NOTE: Please understand that these bowls are a natural handmade product and will never be "perfect" That is what makes them rustic and beautiful.
